Dead Of Night
Blocked. Blocked. Blocked. It sounds so beautiful, don’t you agree? “Dead of Night” puts an emphasis on setting boundaries, and meaning it. We’ve all been there: you block someone, and then years later, they call you from a different or new number, somehow thinking you’ve forgotten what they did or said to get blocked in the first place. Like, no…I remember exactly why you’re blocked. So, once I realize whose number it is, I block it again. For me, blocking someone isn’t always about being petty or holding a grudge. Sometimes, it’s simply about protecting your peace and standing on the boundaries you’ve set for yourself. If I decided I no longer want access to you, there’s usually a reason for it. “Dead of Night” is my fun, sassy, and slightly dramatic reminder that when I say I’m done, I mean it. And if you somehow find your way around the first block…congratulations, you’ve earned another one.
